My Story
Throughout my years of working with florals through Stockbridge Floral Design at UMass Amherst, I have grown such an appreciation for the art of sustainable floral design through every step from seed to installation. As my style develops, I continue to find myself drawn to natural garden-style arrangements alongside rustic colors and forms.
Most recently, I've been diving into more floral photography and media, exploring the beauty of flowers in and out of the field, highlighting the work being done in Stockbridge Floral Design. After graduating from UMass Amherst and navigating next steps, I have taken on a few freelance projects, including music festival installations, part-time work at a flower shop, and personalized arrangement orders.

Using only limited Massachusetts-grown organic florals and foraged foliage, I created many market bouquets, personalized orders, vase arrangements, bud vases, plus dried arrangements and evergreens during the winter. Many arrangements were for event work, which I helped deliver and set up.

Helped create multiple large-scale floral installations. With a heavy focus on seasonality, each installation highlights the importance of slow flowers, showcasing only what is locally available at that time of year. Lots of the foliage is foraged.

Spent lots of time in the greenhouse helping plan, seed, transplant, and sell trays and potted plants to the campus community.
Found myself in the field for weekly harvests, taking photos, processing stems, packing, and delivering flowers. As well as clearing out the plot at the end of the growing season.
